Nice shooter! Just played it a bit in VICE and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to playing it more on my VIC when I get around to setting it up again.

The readme file made me chuckle too. I had a weakened C64 spacebar also. Kicked it too hard playing Green Beret.

I haven't tried the other games yet, but I've had a few games of Island Beach Head and really enjoyed it so far. It's action packed and a good mix of different game styles.

Great score chasing game. I'm not sure I'll ever fill up all those leading zeroes though!

Yes, I did indeed get the wreath graphic. Great to hear you found the bug.

Yes, I would have liked stripes in Super Monza 1 and 2 too but couldn't have them because of the way the graphics were designed. I would have had to have lost a lot of the roadside graphics.

Pole Position has grass and stripes but has very little roadside objects. Also has a blue road.

Yes slowing before the bend helps a lot. It's a fun game!

I found a bug (I think!). I finished all 4 races in the championship in first place (I had 36 points), yet my final standing was second in the championship.

This is a fantastic recreation. I was never any good at the original game but it looks and feels pretty close to me. Great work!

That's a good point about the sound. It's definitely an area that needed some more work.

I've expanded the game to create a sequel. See post in Announcements section. GP2 requires a 32K expansion. New features include 3 extra circuits, car damage, pitstop facility, pre-race circuit maps and track gradient (with a bit of imagination :D ). As much as I could squeeze in with an extra 16K. ...
