Good point, but they offer chamfered edges for free with ENIG plating. So why not?
I paid 27.19 for ten ENIG plated boards. Although I was under 100x100mm, if you go over they make you pay a little more.

Re: VIC prototyping boards
The board looks quite nice. I'm not sure what you mean about the 45 degree edge. Do you mean you wanted a 45 deg corner on your board as the left one seems to have? I suspect that whatever you submitted to them is what you got. They seem to cut the boards exactly as the shape layer dictates. EDIT: ...

Re: VIC prototyping boards
I finally got the boards, The 45 degree edge is a bit of a let down, but it works. The right one is the replica.

Re: VIC prototyping boards
I just got some cartridges manufactured by JLC with ENIG platting, it's not for the VIC-20 though. It's for a tektronix analyzer. I'm curious how it's going to turn out. they shipped it out about 4 days ago and I took the cheaper option, so it might take a while. I didn't think that HASL was that ba...

Nice, just saying be careful about HASL connectors, I know it's been talked about in many places on this forum, but here is a picture of a cartridge after about 30 or so inserts in a VIC-20.

I still see people telling me "I got a sweet deal on a bunch of 6502s on Ebay". They don't like to admit that they got ripped of until they get them.

Could work for the C64 too. Just in case you need to lug around your machine.
Just think about the case for the monitor

Hopefully it won't drive the price of everything else up through the roof. "well look at how much this guy sold it for"

It's already climbed higher than the white ceramic 6502 that is currently on there. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-MOS-MCS-6502-Date-Code-5076-White-Ceramic-CPU-Apple-1/223263904726?_trkparms=aid%3D888007%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131227121020%26meid%3D1b9be28d3d784c46a550c15092223246%26pi...

Re: Power Monitor on eBay
What's the use? Is it just a few volt meter soldered to a connector? I can get the exact same multimeter on Aliexpress.
If you really wanted to know the voltage just whip out a multimeter. I do find the reset button a bit big,
Maybe for users who are not familiar with the vic-20?

I don't think it's bad. Looks almost better than mine, although I am using an RF modulator as the small zenith doesn't have composite.llopis wrote: For comparison, here's the video of my C64 with the same cable and TV:

If you feel like it there is a VIC-20 registry.

A bit of a shame. Someone must have thought they could make an easy buck? If you did really want Sargon II that bad I have it sitting above my head right now.
Still a fun game, but that's my own opinion.

I will do, I just though I would ask here first. I didn't know they had a forum. I hate to join forums just to a ska question and then never contribute.
