There is an annual garage sale here in Lincoln that is held in a *huge* indoor arena. This year it was today. The last 4 years or so my wife buys a booth there and sells the clothes the children have outgrown. This year was the biggest yet, over 200 booths, and the line stretched around the parking ...

FREE sony playstations and Sega Genesis

Hello, its spring and we have been cleaning out the closets. I have a pair of original sony playstations, not sure if they work. Neither has any controllers, one has a power and video cord. I think I did try one and it loaded a game, but that was a while ago. Take one or both. I also have a boxed Se...

What's the story of the black VIC? I've seen pictures, but what is it?
Hi Iltanen,
It's just a Commodore 16 case with some mods to accept the
bigger Vic cartridges, and has a Vic motherboard and
keyboard installed. I've added an extra 16k memory inside also.

Cool; I'd love to have the briefcase type thing for my Model 100s. It's an official Tandy/Radio Shack product? No, its a case that they threw away at work. It held some equipment that is long gone, but holds the Model 100 items just perfectly! Radio Shack did make a hard case for the Model 100 I th...

My collection, in pictures

I took and uploaded some photos of my collection tonight. It is not complete, but I hit the high points. http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562669264ZuvogX I really would like to have stuff on a home page of my own, but I wind up not having the time to maintain it properly. I will most likely put ...

I have one for my 64, it has a battery backed up 8k ram chip inside. When you dump your basic program to it, included software makes it boot. I upgraded it to 32k, which is in 8k banks, so I can have 4 different programs on the cart. I have a battery backed up ram cart that I built for the vic, whic...

Commodore related chip vendor

Hey everybody, Found this site while identifying some Atari 8-bit chip numbers, and see they have quite a bit of Commodore items, including sid chips, vic-20 roms, etc. http://www.arcadecomponents.com/index.html I have never bought from them, so I can't say that they are ok. Web site looks nice, tho...

Vic-20 protoboards for sale

Hi everybody, I bought a large lot of 22/44 edge connector (3.96mm) protoboards. They are 114mm x 244 mm in size, and the package says they will each hold 40 16-pin DIP ICs. These are vintage Radio Shack 276-191, new in package. I have 5 extra I can sell. Is anybody interested? I also have 3 extra b...

Switchcraft (www.switchcraft.com) still makes them. Search their site for 70PC8F (262 degree) or 62PC8F (270). The 262 degree is listed as special order. Also, that part number seems weird: 70PC8F = 262 and 62PC8F = 270?? I would think it would be the other way around, so I would double check before...

Pull an actual commodore 8-pin s-video DIN from a dead (or not) 64 (or 128).

Plenty of VIC's have died to keep a 64 alive, time to return
the favor!

Schema's web site, "As seen on eBay!"

This is a neat item, and the seller uses Schema's project page
to demonstrate it!

I have a full complement of the standard-issue memory expansion carts, but I have been playing with one I built myself. I have a 32k (bank 1,2,3 and 5) cart (well, board) that is very simple, just one 32k memory chip and a 7408 logic chip for some block decoding. Last night I dumped Omega Race to bl...
