Re: Replacements for floppy drives, and datasettes?
Thanks, I'll look hard for a economical solution. I saw someone use an actual old computer as a replacement for a disk drive, so what you said makes sense. I don't have the link, but the man in the video was showing a Pac-Man clone. I'll finally be able to program now!

Replacements for floppy drives, and datasettes?
I've had my VIC-20 for a while, but I still don't have a floppy drive or datasette. I want a modern way to load and save programs for these, and I am aware of the SD card readers, but they are quite expensive. Are there any easy ways to replace the 1541, and datasette? Thanks.

Didn't have a clue that you could pull that kind of sound out of a VIC! I would love to hear more!

What's the First Game You've Ever Played?
This week I was feeling a bit nostalgic, so I played the first game I ever played, Pac-Man World 2. I was in preschool when my family decided to stay in a mountain cabin. In my bedroom there was an X-Box and that beauty of a game. Pac-Man World 2 is definitely worth trying out. It's a 3/D platformer...

Re: Could the Vectrex be reborn?
The first big find at my local thrift store was a Vectrex! Unfortunately it was in the auction case, and the bidding went too high (I'm a kid, I don't have that much money!) This got me thinking. Since the Vectrex is public domain could somebody potentially put the machine back into production? I k...

I ordered this 5-Pin one. It says that the cable is compatible with the Vic and the C64. Color correction is needed however

What would be a good cable to connect my VIC to a modern TV?
Hi, I just got a VIC-20 recently from a friend who had no cables. I ordered a power supply to test it, and it powers on. What would be a good cable to connect it to a fairly modern TV? I have flat screens and a CRT TV. The CRT only has one audio channel, but is smaller, so I would prefer to use that...
