VIC-20 high score competition
Ok, somewhat shameless plug here. There's recently been alot of VIC-20 scores posted on highscore.com in the last few weeks, but it would be great to have some more competition.. It is mostly just 4 of us competing on the VIC right now (myself, cncfreak, Robotron2084, and darrin9999). Some of these ...

Re: Borderline BBS
After a few years of downtime, as of today, Borderline BBS has returned as the world's only dial-up BBS running on a C64! So dust off your modem and give it a call! The new number is 1-951-652-1690. Running 24/7 at 300/1200 baud. It's a truly 80s telecommunications experience! What software are you...

Hi Charlie, Thanks for the link. It does look like a great resource (and better organized than other places I have downloaded roms/t64/d64 files from). However, I am looking to acquire original copies of these games (preferably in the original box with manual). For me, the game itself is only half o...

Serious, I'm just curious, if you are in the U.S. why would you want PAL System Computers? :? Charlie Many demos and games were created for PAL computers and don't run properly on NTSC machines. They are jittery, run at the wrong speed, or appear garbled. I have the equipment to convert a PAL signa...

WTB PAL Commodore systems, HardSID card
I'm in the U.S. and would like to acquire PAL versions of Commodore systems, primarily the C64 and C16.
I'm also interested in a HardSID card (ISA or PCI).
Willing to buy or trade.

Still stuck doing emulation VIC, but looking for a real VIC to complete my collection of usable C= 8-bits. Could buy one locally, but it's missing keys, not guaranteed to work, and has no power supply. Might as well keep scouring Craigslist, Kijiji and eBay. There's no shortage of VICs on eBay, but...

Way back when, I had a rainbow VIC that I used as my backup machine when my C64 was fried (which seemed to happen alot, probably due to power supply issues). I'd mostly call BBSes and Diversi-dials on it. These days, I am using my VIC much more than my C64, and I'm using it for games.. My favorites ...
