Multi/Mega cart question

Hi all.
Just wondering:
Are the programs on the multi/mega carts all licensed to be there or public domain? I'd prefer knowing this before I buy one.

Thanks. It's the 7 pin PSU. Keypad repair kit's good to know about. I was thinking about putting a heat sink on the 6560 chip.
Recommendations on a good one?

It's the MMC64 http://www.vesalia.de/e_mmc64.htm
It's designed for the C-64 or C128 expansion port.
I was totally surprised to find it included with the joystick!
Unfortunately I don't have a C-64.

So adding a disk drive or X-series cable will allow the use of more types of software? Ok. I've seen both available online and I suppose I could also find 5.25" floppies as well. I have a flash memory adaptor that for the C-64 (Came with my joystick) Can it be adapted? Where can I learn more of...

Wow that was a quick response! Thanks. I agree, the tape drive is a must for the Vic. Except for a joystick, this was the fist computer peripheral for my family's first computer.
